Glazing that protects against the cold.
Cylite 1.1
Is high-efficiency glazing (HE++), with high light transmission and a very neutral appearance. The outer pane (depending on the composition) consists of clear float glass, a cavity filled with an insulating noble gas filling (the width of the cavity determines the insulation) from 12 mm to 15 mm and an inner pane (depending on the composition) with an invisible filter-thin metal coating. The two panes are assembled by means of a double sealing joint.
Cylite 1.0
Is practically identical to the Cylite 1.1, the only difference being another type of metal coating. Cylite insulates almost twice as well as classic double-glazing. The result, even for large windows, is reduced fuel costs thanks to less heat loss. Cylite also does not create a cold zone around the window, and condensation is kept to a minimum.
Cylite 0.8
The most recent construction technologies are designed to help achieve optimum thermal insulation by limiting energy consumption. Cylite 0.8 has a neutral appearance, and thanks to the combination of LE coatings, krypton glass and an improved insulating spacer, very little heat loss.
Cylite Ecopassive (HEAT MIRROR®)
The latest super-insulating glazing. Double-glazing that performs like triple-glazing. It is double-glazing with a special film between the two sheets of glass. The film creates a double cavity, making the insulation value the same as for triple-glazing with the weight of double-glazing. Ideal for components that open, glass roofs, Minimal Window, etc.
Cylite Tripple
Cylite Triple is triple super-insulating glazing that allows you to achieve the highest possible energy efficiency. Passive housing, low-energy homes or simply energy-aware construction/renovation: Cylite Triple lets you save while reducing CO2 emissions. Good for your budget and good for the environment.

Glazing that protects against strong sunlight or glare.
Cystar 35/26
This glazing has the property of letting in large amounts of light (LTA: 35%) while providing a great deal of heat resistance (26%). This glazing also has a high reflection rate (LR: 40%), making the glass extremely reflective. Cystar 35/26 is recommended in façades or windows where heat resistance and insulation are important. The glazing has a silver tint.
Cystar 35/26 is the latest generation of heat-resistant and super-insulating glazing with a high reflective effect.
Cystar 51/26
This glazing also has the property of letting in large amounts of light (LTA: 51%) while providing a great deal of heat resistance (26%). Thanks to the low reflection rate (LR: 11%) of this glass (as with classic double-glazing), there is almost no reflection in the glass. Cystar 51/26 is therefore recommended in façades or windows where heat resistance and insulation are important, without giving the impression of sitting in polished plate glass. The glazing has a neutral grey/blue tint.
Cystar 70/38, 4-season glass
Cystar 70/38 has approximately the same properties (LTA: 70%) - (39% heat resistance) as the Cystar 70/38, but is the latest generation of cheaper heat-resistant and super-insulating non-reflective glazing. The glazing has a light, neutral tint.
Cylite Eco Solar (HEAT MIRROR®)
The latest super-heat-resistant glazing. Double-glazing that performs like triple-glazing. It is double-glazing with a special heat-resistant film between the two sheets of glass. The film creates a double cavity, making the insulation value the same as for triple-glazing with the weight of double-glazing. Perfect in combination with an extra coating, giving outstanding values in the field of heat resistance as well as insulation. Ideal for components that open, glass roofs, Minimal Window, etc.

Glazing that protects against break-ins, fire and bullets.
Bullet- and burglar-proof glazing.
Glazing suitable for the banking sector or other risk sectors.
Laminated glass
Glazing in which a safety film ensures that if broken, the glass does not shatter into fragments. This glass prevents injuries and is effective against burglars or vandals.
Toughened glass
Glazing that is heat-treated (and highly resistant) and breaks off into thousands of blunt, round pieces if shattered.
Fire-retardant glass
The government is increasingly requiring the use of fire-retardant glass within public areas such as schools, childcare centres, hospitals, theatres, airports, etc.
Fire-retardant glass is a safety glass with a fire-retardant effect. The fire-retardant effect can be from 30 or 60 minutes to even 90 minutes long. In accordance with the legal construction and fire regulations, Glas Ceyssens has a range of fire-resistant safety glazing for every application.
Glazing with a sound-proofing function.
This is done using glass plates of varying thickness, or with laminated glazing on one or both glass plates, possibly with a safety film.

Production
Glas Ceyssens recently began producing the world’s most advanced glass insulation system, namely Heat Mirror glass. It is a unique type of glass that easily meets the new EBP standard.
Unique
Heat Mirror glass is an extremely heat-resistant and insulating glass that protects against both cold and heat. The unique Heat Mirror film lets light through, but reflects radiant heat in both directions. It keeps the heat out during the summer, while keeping it in during the winter. The temperature behind the glass remains more or less constant.
Process
The process is based on an infra-red- and ultraviolet-resistant film (developed for use in space) between 2 panes of glass. The result is that the Heat Mirror glass is a multifunctional glazing meaning you no longer have to compromise between insulating capacity, radiating capacity, radiation transmission, incidence of light, UV filtering, sound insulation and composition. Heat Mirror glass offers the optimum combination, regardless of glass plate thickness, composition, colour or shape.
Benefits
- Heat-resistant systems and air conditioning quickly become superfluous, even with large areas of glass, for example in offices or buildings
- significant energy saving
- 50% less noise is let through compared to normal glass
- no more discolouration of the interior
- there are no visible optical deformations due to glass with Heat Mirror.
